Meet The Doctor

Dr. Joal Legaspi has been a part of Legaspi Family Dental for over 30 years. He spent every day after school at the dental office that his father, Dr. Joal Legaspi, established in 1990. During those years, he worked as an instrument sterilizer, a dental assistant, a front desk agent, a manager, and finally as a doctor and owner in 2021.

Dr. Joal graduated with a degree in business management from La Sierra University and then achieved his dream of becoming a dentist by receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University in 2021. The “Quest to DDS,” as he calls it, took many years to achieve, and because of this, he cherishes every opportunity he has to use his skills and knowledge to educate thoroughly and provide the highest quality dentistry.

Dr. Joal Legaspi was always known for his gentle touch, honest treatment, and humorous personality. Dr. Joal wants to bring that same family dentistry his father was known for to the modern age. His ethos includes quality of care with a personal touch. He stays on top of the latest dental technologies/techniques and values a holistic approach to dentistry. His high standard of care includes using premier biological materials and artisan ceramists in order to provide his patients with modern treatment plans, durable and stunning restorations, and quality care that is sure to elevate their oral health to its utmost potential. Above all, he leads with his faith and gives all glory to Christ.

Personal Interests: Along with strong values are his passions outside of the office, which include: basketball, cycling, off-roading, and his newest hobby, golf (sorry to all the golfers he’s slowing down). Though Dr. Joal enjoys staying active, he believes in balance. He’s a huge foodie who loves to find coffee shops with the tastiest espressos, the newest spot in town for a bite to eat, and desserts sure to make any cavity zing. The doctor’s greatest joy is spending time with his wife, Samantha, and their two beautiful girls.
